New Treatment Guidelines for ADHD

Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common reasons children are referred for mental health services, and it affects as many as 1 in every 20 children.

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), a key partner in NMHA’s Children’s Mental Health Matters campaign, has released new recommendations for treating school-age children with ADHD.

We encourage affiliates and other advocates to promote and distribute this information in their communities.
